Boinc wasted all my workunits during the upgrade!

Why has boinc disqualified all my pending workque?

Absolutely everything you ever need to change or refer to is within that BOINC data folder and its subfolders - all your account settings and history, your tasks and applications (including anonymous platform), everything.

If BOINC can find that data folder as it starts up, everything works exactly as it did before the move. No further tweaking is necessary.

That's why you should move the folder first, and run the installer second. If you point the installer to the right place, it does two important things:

1) Records the new data location in the registry, for the BOINC client to use at startup
2) (re-)Sets all the file and folder permissions properly.
