Back again!

After solving the app_info.xml problem something else has taken a nip at my rear-end!

I installed the apps , solved a problem and started crunching with the following error messages:

I have:-

1). Restarted Boinc - no luck the same thing happened.
2). Reset the project - same again!
3) Detached, re-attachedand reinstalled the apps - same again!

Can anyone offer advice or help me to look in the right place?

Thanks

James

PS: Fedora 18, Boinc 7.0.29 and Seti Computer ID 6884915.

PPS: Checked the work-units on my results page the text is the same for ALL failed units:-

<core_client_version>7.0.29</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[
<message>
process exited with code 22 (0x16, -234)
</message>
<stderr_txt>
execv: Permission denied

</stderr_txt>
]]>

Check the execute permission on the CPU app, it sounds like it is not set.

Greetings Arkayan!

You were quite correct and I changed the permissions when I got home this evening. The only thing I can add is that I had a "Doh!" moment as I would normally check that before starting to do something.

Once again thanks

James
